Los Angeles, California, October 23, 2011 - Activist Van Jones speaks to protesters of Occupy LA from the steps of City Hall in Los Angeles. As Co-Founder and President of Rebuild the Dream, Jones is working on grassroots efforts to mobilize the left and hoping to find traction in the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Occupy LA is part of the larger Occupy Wall Street Movement which began this summer in Zuccotti Park in the Wall Street Financial District. Their protest is focused on social and economic inequality, corporate greed and its influence on government. Their slogan "We are the 99%" refers to the divide wealth distribution, where 1% of Americans control over 40% of the wealth in the country. <br />
