Studio City, California, July 14, 2010 - Thousands of television scripts line the bookshelves of the Samuel French Bookshop in Studio City. Bob McCullough, who was one of the 165 television writers who were plaintiffs in a long-running age-bias case against more than two-dozen defendants that essentially run the television business, said that as a television writer his whole life was writing. "My first wife used to ask me "why are you always writing?'" says McCullough, "I would tell her, 'Because if I stop I am out.'" .
